With the mild winter and lack of snow and sunshine I am looking forward to the spring and summer months. Now we are seeing the days get longer and hopefully the sun feeling warmer we are starting to plan for another exciting summer of music events at Oxbow Park and we would love your support. The “Wednesday Night Live” music series is coming into its thirteenth year, and we have already started booking bands for the nine shows. This year we are stepping it up a bit, Dave Keller and Johnny Rawls will be one of the fantastic shows in the line-up.
 
The community involvement in the music series has been spectacular. Over the years many of the local nonprofits and school organizations promoted themselves and their missions including River Arts hosting a free arts tent, Copley Hospital outreach, Noyes House Museum and many more. The music series has been an opportunity for the community to come together in a healthy social environment. We’ve seen many improvements over the years, at times there has been a ping pong table set up, the food vendors change, frisbee games are held in the lower field and other pop-up events.
 
To add to the roster of great live local musicians and vendors we are asking for your support to sponsor the 9 weeks of free summer music. Your contribution will help tremendously. The sponsorship is $300.00 per year for the music series and your business name/logo will be on all printed literature. Please let me know if you would like to be part of this great music series, one of our many fabulous community assets and a healthy venue for all.
